Women in Ninja provides a platform for athletes of all levels—from beginners to seasoned elites—to come together and compete on a course that prioritizes skill, balance, and growth.

In person walkthroughS
taking the time to talk to the athletes after their course runs AND celebrating their accomplishments on the course. this gives the athletes a chance to give their experience on the course as well as their own run down of what it was like and what they thought of their run and the course!
Post run interviews
We HAVE IN PERSON walkthroughS of the course to explain any obstacles. This will give each athlete the chance to visually assess the challenges they’ll face, talk things over with their coaches, and mentally prepare for the run ahead.
We encourage all athletes to take full advantage of this TIME to strategize and set themselves up for success!

MEET THE FOUNDERS
KELEA ROBERTSON & COREY DEPAPE
- Two passionate and driven ninjas, united by a common vision, are on a mission to create a groundbreaking competition designed specifically for female athletes. From brainstorming to building and assembling, we work hand-in-hand to craft a one-of-a-kind course that highlights the strength, agility, and determination of OUR COMPETITORS.
Our goal is to create a community where women can connect, compete, and grow together, all while enjoying the thrill of challenging themselves on courses specifically built to highlight their abilities.
Megan budway
Megan Budway, aka The Music Ninja, is a 4-time American Ninja Warrior competitor & the WNL season VI Adult Female champion. She coaches and trains at Jumptwist Ninja Academy in South Florida. Recognizing the need for more opportunities and support for women in ninja, Megan founded the Women’s Ninja Association (WNA)—the first-ever women’s-only ninja organization and competition. The WNA has created a space for female athletes to thrive, providing a platform for competition, mentorship, and growth. The WNA has been instrumental in increasing visibility for women in the sport, inspiring the next generation of female ninjas, and fostering a supportive community that continues to expand. Megan’s journey is one of perseverance, passion, and innovation, hoping to make a lasting positive impact on the ninja community.
kELEA rOBERTSON
KELEA is a dRIVEN female Ninja Warrior competitor with six years of experience in the sport. sHE IS A MOM OF THREE DAUGHTERS. hER YOUNGEST DAUGHTER ALSO COMPETES IN NINJA WARRIOR AND STRIVES TO ALSO BE A ROLE MODEL IN THE COMMUNITY. kelea strives to play a pivotal role in helping to shape the future of women in the sport. she has a passion for motivating others AND works to grow the sport of ninja. Through her efforts, she hopes to inspire more women to join and thrive in the world of ninja WARRIOR. she works at BUILDING A NETWORK OF NINJAS WITH COMMON GOALS TO CONTINUE HER VISION, WANTING TO BUILD STRONG FEMALE ATHLETES ON AND OFF THE COURSE.

Corey DePape is the owner of NM Obstacle and Design and the co-founder of Women in Ninja. With a deep passion for the sport of ninja, Corey is committed to elevating both the sport and its athletes. His innovative and creative approach to obstacle design has earned him a reputation for pushing boundaries and enhancing competitions. As a driven and supportive leader, Corey’s contributions to Women in Ninja have made him an invaluable asset, helping to shine a spotlight on women in the sport and advocate for their growth. A seasoned pro ninja competitor himself, Corey understands firsthand the challenges in the sport, and he works to break down barriers and inspire the next generation!
